1. Service provider

The PolicyWallet platform (policywallet.gr) is operated by Insurance Martech IKE, GEMI registration number 188863359000, Tax ID (ΑΦΜ) 302659440, Chios Tax Office, with registered seat at Kalamoti, 82102, Chios, Greece.

2. What PolicyWallet is — and what it is not

PolicyWallet is an organization and information tool: you store your insurance policies in one place, analyze them with artificial intelligence, see coverages, potential coverage gaps and renewal reminders, and — if you choose to — share information with your insurance intermediary.

PolicyWallet is not an insurance company. It does not issue policies, sell insurance or collect insurance premiums. It organises uploaded documents and explains their information. Consult a licensed insurance intermediary for personalised insurance advice.

The information displayed by the platform does not replace your policy document or the advice of a licensed intermediary or your insurer.

3. Neutrality commitment: where your data does NOT go

We do not sell personal data to insurers, banks or other third parties. We use technical providers to operate the service, as explained in the Privacy Policy and provider list.

Sharing with an insurance adviser is governed by the platform's access permissions. You can revoke access you granted. Data may also be disclosed where legally required.

We receive no commission from insurance companies. Our revenue comes solely from user subscriptions, so we have no financial interest in what the analysis we show you says.

4. Accounts and roles

The service is intended for adults. When registering you must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Roles include policyholder, adviser and administrator. Access depends on the role, client relationship and permissions for each document. An adviser may also manage documents uploaded for a client where legally authorised and the platform relationship has not ended.

5. Subscriptions, billing, renewal and cancellation

The free plan includes up to three (3) policies. Each analysis uses part of the plan's monthly processing allowance; assistant questions are not included in the free plan. The pricing page shows current features, limits and charges. Before purchasing, you confirm the final price, billing period and VAT where applicable. Subscription payments are processed through Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — until then you keep full access to your plan. You will not be charged for subsequent periods after cancelling.

If plan prices change, you will be notified in advance and the new price will apply from your next billing period.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you purchase as a consumer, you may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 calendar days of concluding the subscription contract. Withdrawal is different from cancelling the next renewal. Greek Law 2251/1994 and Directive 2011/83/EU, as amended, apply.

Purchasing a subscription is not by itself a request to start the service before the withdrawal period ends. A proportional charge for service already provided may be requested only where statutory conditions are met, including your prior express request and the required information. Starting to use the service does not automatically remove your right.

You can clearly state that you wish to withdraw by emailing info@policywallet.gr before the deadline. Include your name and subscription details so we can identify it. No reason is required. Refunds are made without undue delay and, where applicable, within 14 days of notifying us, subject to any lawful proportional charge.

7. Acceptable use

Upload only documents you own or are legally entitled to use. If acting for someone else, you must have appropriate authorisation and a legal basis, especially where the document contains health information.

The following are prohibited: using the service for any unlawful purpose; uploading malicious files; scraping and abusive automation; attempting to circumvent security mechanisms or usage limits; and entering third parties' personal data without a lawful basis.

In case of violation we may suspend or terminate your access, with prior notice where feasible.

8. AI analysis — disclaimer

Policy analyses, coverage-gap detection and related highlights are produced by artificial-intelligence models. They are informational only, may contain inaccuracies or omissions, and do not constitute insurance, legal or financial advice.

Before any decision with insurance or financial consequences — such as changing, cancelling or purchasing coverage — verify the details against your original policy document, your insurer, or a licensed intermediary. We show the same reminder inside the app: AI can make mistakes.

9. Content and intellectual property

The documents you upload remain yours. You grant us only the license necessary to store, process and analyze them for the purpose of providing the service.

The PolicyWallet platform, software, trademarks and content are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service continuously available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation — scheduled maintenance or technical incidents may cause temporary outages.

The service evolves: features may be added, modified or withdrawn. You will be notified in advance of material changes affecting paid plans.

11. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

The results in section 8 are informational and need confirmation before a decision. Any limitation of liability applies only as permitted by law and does not remove mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The provider's total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the total amount you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited by contract under Greek or EU law.

12. Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Any active subscription remains in force until the end of the current billing period, in accordance with section 4.

We may suspend or terminate access in case of serious or repeated violation of these terms. After termination, your data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law, jurisdiction and out-of-court resolution

These terms are governed by Greek law and applicable EU law. The courts of Greece shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-jurisdiction provisions.

If you are a consumer, you may also contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr) for out-of-court dispute resolution.
