These Terms of Service govern the use of the PolicyWallet platform by individual policyholders, insurance intermediaries, and visitors. Please read them carefully before creating an account — creating an account or using any feature means you accept them.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.
The PolicyWallet platform (policywallet.gr) is operated by Insurance Martech IKE, GEMI registration number 188863359000, Tax ID (ΑΦΜ) 302659440, Chios Tax Office, with registered seat at Kalamoti, 82102, Chios, Greece.
For any matter relating to these terms you can contact us at info@policywallet.gr.
PolicyWallet is an organization and information tool: you store your insurance policies in one place, analyze them with artificial intelligence, see coverages, potential coverage gaps and renewal reminders, and — if you choose to — share information with your insurance intermediary.
PolicyWallet is NOT an insurance undertaking and does NOT carry out insurance distribution: it does not provide insurance advice, does not recommend or promote specific insurance products, and does not mediate in the conclusion or administration of insurance contracts within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/97 (IDD) and Greek Law 4583/2018.
The information displayed by the platform does not replace your policy document or the advice of a licensed intermediary or your insurer.
The service is intended for adults. When registering you must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
The platform supports distinct roles (policyholder, intermediary, administrator). Intermediaries gain access to client information exclusively through the client's explicit in-platform consent, which the client may revoke at any time.
Basic use is free for one policy. Paid plans for individuals (Starter €2.99/month, PolicyWallet Plus €7.99/month) and intermediary plans are billed through the payment provider Stripe, at the price displayed before you complete the purchase, including VAT where applicable.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — until then you keep full access to your plan. You will not be charged for subsequent periods after cancelling.
If plan prices change, you will be notified in advance and the new price will apply from your next billing period.
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 calendar days of its start, without giving any reason, under Greek Law 2251/1994 and Directive 2011/83/EU.
By starting a subscription, you request immediate performance of the digital service within the withdrawal period and consent to the immediate execution of the contract. If you withdraw within the 14 days, you will be refunded the price reduced proportionally by the part of the service already provided up to your withdrawal notice.
To exercise this right, send a withdrawal statement to info@policywallet.gr before the 14-day period expires.
Upload only documents that belong to you or that you are lawfully entitled to manage — for intermediaries, only documents of clients who have consented through the platform.
The following are prohibited: using the service for any unlawful purpose; uploading malicious files; scraping and abusive automation; attempting to circumvent security mechanisms or usage limits; and entering third parties' personal data without a lawful basis.
In case of violation we may suspend or terminate your access, with prior notice where feasible.
Policy analyses, coverage-gap detection, protection scores and related highlights are produced by artificial-intelligence models. They are informational only, may contain inaccuracies or omissions, and do not constitute insurance, legal or financial advice.
Before any decision with insurance or financial consequences — such as changing, cancelling or purchasing coverage — verify the details against your original policy document, your insurer, or a licensed intermediary. We show the same reminder inside the app: AI can make mistakes.
The documents you upload remain yours. You grant us only the license necessary to store, process and analyze them for the purpose of providing the service.
The PolicyWallet platform, software, trademarks and content are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights and may not be reproduced without permission.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service continuously available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation — scheduled maintenance or technical incidents may cause temporary outages.
The service evolves: features may be added, modified or withdrawn. You will be notified in advance of material changes affecting paid plans.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
We are not liable for decisions you make based on the platform's informational outputs (see section 7), nor for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use, to the extent such limitation is permitted by law.
The provider's total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the total amount you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited by contract under Greek or EU law.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Any active subscription remains in force until the end of the current billing period, in accordance with section 4.
We may suspend or terminate access in case of serious or repeated violation of these terms. After termination, your data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by Greek law and applicable EU law. The courts of Chios (North Aegean, Greece) shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-jurisdiction provisions.
If you are a consumer, you may also contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr) for out-of-court dispute resolution.
For any question about these terms: info@policywallet.gr or by post at Kalamoti, 82102, Chios, Greece.
