Cookie Policy
This page explains which cookies and related technologies PolicyWallet (policywallet.gr) uses, for what purpose, and how you can manage them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website, so that it can "remember" information such as your sign-in or your preferences. Browser local storage (localStorage) plays a similar role.
2. Which cookies we use
Today the platform uses the following:

3. Analytics and marketing cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to produce aggregate usage statistics, so that we can understand which pages are used and where users run into difficulty. Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies, with a typical lifetime of up to 2 years under the Google Analytics 4 defaults.
These cookies are set only after you accept the "Analytics" category in the consent banner. Before you consent, the Google Analytics code is not loaded at all and no data is sent to Google.
The service is configured with IP anonymisation (anonymize_ip) and with Google Signals disabled (allow_google_signals: false), so no advertising targeting or cross-device profiling takes place.
We do not use third-party marketing or advertising-targeting cookies. The "Marketing" category remains in the banner so that, if such cookies are added in the future, they are activated only with your consent and after this page is updated first.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the pw_cookie_consent cookie in your browser, which brings the banner back so you can choose again. On withdrawal we stop sending data to Google Analytics and the _ga cookies are deleted.
Google acts as a processor on our behalf; any transfers outside the EEA are covered by the safeguards described on our Subprocessors page.
4. Managing cookies
On your first visit you choose via the banner whether to accept all cookies, only the necessary ones, or custom preferences per category. Your choice is recorded together with the policy version in force at the time of consent.
To change your mind, delete the pw_cookie_consent cookie in your browser settings — the banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser; note that without the strictly necessary cookies, signing in to the platform will not work.
